Parent Groups

Parents are a valuable asset to the success of ESCS. Parent volunteers aid students and teachers in many ways. Two groups that organize parent involvement are:

  • Parent Teacher Fellowship is a support group of parents and staff who are a vital part of the life of the school. All parents are automatically members of PTF and invited to participate in the meetings, fundraisers, assemblies, food services and other activities which enrich the lives of the students and support the activities of the school.

  • Parent Connection is a group of parents and teachers who have recently come together in order to specifically support the High School students and staff. They are inviting the Jr. High parents to join them in creating a stronger support group for our students in their adolescent years.

We have many ways for parents to be involved in the education of the students. Some of the areas where volunteers are used are: Library aids, hot lunch helpers, teacher assistants, playground supervisors, fund raising support staff, volunteer school work days, field trip chaperones, Parent Teacher Fellowship members and board members, Parent Connection members and leaders, and more.

ESCS requires all volunteers to have background screening before working with students. This screening is available by filling out a form and paying the $20 fee.
